I was excited to be able to visit the town that is designated the center of the state. I don't recall any other state that I've lived in or visited that has a "middle of the state". This small communitee is just below Yosemite and in a beautiful part of Ca. As you can see from the photo there are plenty of green trees and mountains close by. Down here the rain had stopped but the clouds clung to the mountain.
